High-Speed Dynamics

Motor designed with high-performance arc-shaped rare earth magnets, compatible for high-speed, high-torque applications with max. speed up to 10,000 RPM.

Ultra-High Efficiency

Low power motor performs low efficiency regularly. Volcano's quantum motors with special material designed, perform full-line 90% efficiency with power ratings from 50W to 1500W.

Compact Size

Quantum motors designed with a 10-pole rotor core, high-grade arc-shaped magnets with good sine wave form, have a 60% volume and weight reduction compared to asynchronous motors of the same power.

Low Rotational Inertia

Motor inertia is proportional to the volume and weight of the rotor. With super-strong magnet performance and a small-volume rotor, it features low inertia and excellent dynamic and servo performance.

High Power to Volume Ratio

High surface magnetic field and high slot fill factor design; higher torque output compared with same volume motors, achieving an industry-leading high power to volume ratio.


Permanent magnet synchronous servo motors performs high power factor and high efficiency; With simple structure and reliable operation; Small size, light weight and low loss. No necessary to assemble commutator and brush inside compared with DC motors; and not require reactive excitation current compared with asynchronous motors, resulting in a higher torque-to-inertia ratio, less losses of stator current and stator resistance, rotor parameters measurable to get better control performance. Compared to conventional synchronous motors, simplifying the structure without excitation device and significantly improving efficiency level that traditional electrically excited motors cannot match. Compared to brushless DC permanent magnet synchronous motors (BLDCM), they are more competitive in high-precision servo drives.
